Before you submit.
Do I need all the requested documents before I start?
No. Basic site information and a recent electricity account are enough to begin an initial assessment. Site diagrams, load data, existing PPAs and other supporting documents can be provided where available.
What documents can I provide?
Recent electricity accounts, load or interval data, single-line diagrams, electrical drawings, site plans, existing energy agreements or PPAs, and information relating to existing Solar PV, batteries, generators, UPS systems or other energy infrastructure.
What if we already have Solar PV or other energy infrastructure?
Vector assesses existing infrastructure as part of the site's overall energy environment and considers how it may affect or integrate with any proposed solution.
What if we already have a PPA?
You can provide the existing agreement as part of the assessment. This helps Vector understand the site's current energy arrangement and determine what options, if any, warrant further investigation.
Does requesting an assessment commit us to a project?
No. An assessment request starts the evaluation process. Any project remains subject to technical, commercial, credit, property, regulatory and funding requirements and final approved documentation.
Is a funded solution available to every site?
No. Funded projects depend on the technical and commercial viability of the opportunity as well as credit, property, regulatory and funding considerations.
How is our information handled?
Information and documents submitted for an assessment are used to evaluate and progress the relevant opportunity and are handled in accordance with Vector Energy Africa's Privacy Policy.
